 Caffe Classico Foods was founded in 1976 in San Francisco, California as a family owned single store location.  Word quickly spread about the great Italian-style ice cream made in San Francisco and consumers came to enjoy the many flavors of gelato and sorbetto.

 The company moved its headquarters and the manufacturing facility to Concord, California in 1999.  The move to a larger facility 25 miles east of San Francisco has provided the company with the room to grow to meet the needs of its customers.

 Caffe Classico Foods manufactures all of the frozen dessert items it sells.  The company’s products are sold under the Gelato Classico™, Sorbetto Classico™, and Belizza™ brand names.  Caffe Classico Foods also manufactures frozen desserts for others under its private label and co-pack program. 

We are proud to use only Real California Milk in all of our gelatos.  Our products are made with the highest quality ingredients and we strive to use natural ingredients whenever possible.  Our sorbettos use real fruit so they taste is as if you were eating fresh fruit.  Belizza™ Acai is made with organic ingredients and contains no allergens.
